Daventry Town FC 2 – 1 St. Neots Town FC
U’s midfielder Lewis Simper continued his impressive run of form, picking up the Man of The Match award for the second game running. After St. Neots took the lead in the 51st minute through Prince Mutswunguma, Neots looked on course to take all three points on their travels for the first time since late August, however shortly after the hosts were awarded a penalty and only six minutes after Neots managed to put themselves in front the home side were back level. Shortly after St. Neots were dealt a killer blow when a cross delivered into the box from Daventry Town was met by on rushing striker Jack Bowden for his second of the game. Other loanee’s Finley Iron and Tom Dickens also played 90 minutes in the loss, However Joe Neal who has been side lined for a couple of weeks due to injury missed out once more.
Kirkley & Pakefield FC 4 – 0 Mildenhall Town FC
Harvey Steel started and played 90 minutes in a shock 4-0 loss against Kirkley & Pakefield FC. After an impressive run of form in the league, winning seven out their previous eight games, The Hall arrive on the coast looking to pick up another three points however found themselves 1-0 down inside the opening 10 minutes. It was 2-0 to the home side at the break leaving Mildenhall in an unfamiliar position. The second half followed in similar suit to the first however this time it was a penalty followed by an own goal which put the game to bed with the home side running out comfortable 4-0 winners.
Chelmsford City FC 1 – 1 Slough Town FC
Tom Knowles appeared as a 2nd half substitute in Chelmsford City’s 1-1 draw with Slough as they looked to get back on track in their bid to reach the play off’s. After taking the lead the Clarets were pinned back just six minutes later by high flyer’s Slough leaving the points to be shared at Melbourne Park.
Thame United P – P Yaxley FC
Both Jake Battersby and Sam Bennett were unable to play this weekend due to a waterlogged pitch at Thame United.
